After seeing insight prices, I really want one. They’re cheap and very fuel efficient, would make a great commuter, which would be nice since I have an 80 miles commute 4 days a week.

Honestly I’m shocked as hell. Comfortable, rides nice, not unusably slow and it’s tough to get worse than 50mpg. The issue is you’ll most likely need to rebuild the IMA battery which isn’t horribly involved or expensive if you trust yourself to do the work and the synchros on 2nd gear seem a bit... odd on about every single one.

The batteries seem pretty easy to replace. Not sure if I’d get manual or auto, as I’d have to teach myself stick. Plus auto is usually cheaper, but I’d be worried about reliability. Still, very tempting.
Well these and pretty much any 3800 GM, but especially the Riviera

Auto is cheaper but less efficient due to not having lean burn, and a lot less fun. Unusually for Honda the auto doesn’t come with a reliability penalty.

To be fair, I’ve also been looking at Prii that would need the batteries replaced, among other random cars, so fun isn’t the biggest factor for me
